How does this work?
The profiles of potential pen pals are listed under general categories such as musical interests and age groups. You can click on the category link to see all profiles in that category, or you can search profiles.
Each profile includes the prisoner’s full name, department identification number and last known address. You may want to confirm the address by visiting the DOCSwebsite. Click here to look up a prisoner or Click here to see addresses for all New York State Correctional Facilities. Write to the prisoner and say you saw him on Pete’s Friends.
The purpose of this site is to set up pen pal friendships between straight, European-American adults. Then men on this site do not want to recieve letters from minors. They do not want to recieve letter from homosexuals or transgendered people. They prefer letters from European-American people.
All prisoners on Pete’s Friends have been screened and we do not expect that they will ask their pen pals for anything (favors, money, packages).
